Description: On January 24-25, 2004, the Plaintiff attended his younger brother's birthday party and left early. Later, an argument broke between 4 people at the party, resulting in one person getting stabbed and the other getting shot (death). Det. Hutchison and Vasquez conducted interviews after the violent incident, and during the process, called the Plaintiff's ex-girlfriend who happened to be the sister of the person that got stabbed at the party. Angry that the Plaintiff had another girlfriend, the ex-girlfriend lied and claimed the Plaintiff was the shooter.
