Complaint
Description: On or about September 16, 2013, Plaintiff was a lawful pedestrian when he was forcibly, violently and unlawfully stopped, frisked and searched by Defendant NYPD officer Banas and an unknown Defendant NYPD officer. Plaintiff was also assaulted, threatened, and illegally placed under arrest. Plaintiff was taken to the precinct and eventually Central Booking, where Plaintiff was held for several hours. All criminal charges against Plaintiff were eventually dismissed.
