Description: On or about May 12, 2024, Plaintiff was legally operating his vehicle on the streets of Kings County to go home. When Plaintiff pulled up in front of his home, defendants, NYPD officers approached his car with their guns drawn. Plaintiff scared honked his car to alert his family. Plaintiff's father exited the house and then Plaintiff opened the car door and when he did the NYPD officers John and Jane Does, Dustin Diaz and Mark Whirl dragged him out of his car and physically assaulted him, causing injuries to his body and face and then arrested him. Description: On My 12, 2022, plaintiff Jeremiah Sawyers was playing basketball with friends, and after being approached by a suspicious car, he alerted his friends that they should take their belongings and leave quickly, as they were at a high crime area. Nevertheless, he was stopped by two male individuals having jumped out of the car, and having asked if they can speak with him. Upon request, he was informed that he is not under arrest, and continued walking, when he was stopped, threw to the ground and physically assaulted by the officers.
