Description: On February 2, 2019, Plaintiff Brandon Parker was forcibly seized and detained by P.O. Goldrick and other unknown officers in the Bronx. The officers threw him against a wall and assaulted him, causing contusions and abrasion requiring hospital intervention. This "stop-and-frisk" was motivated in park by race and in order to meet summons quotas. Mr. Parker was then handcuffed and taken to the 43rd Precinct; he was released after 9 hours. On April 10, 2019, the charges against him (disorderly conduct for failure to disperse) were dismissed in Bronx Criminal Court.
