Description: On October 8, 2021, at approximately 5:00 p.m., Plaintiff Erika Garcia was present in the vicinity of 1925 Bath Avenue in Kings County, when Defendant NYPD Police Officers unlawfully assaulted Plaintiff. Plaintiff went to the 62nd Precinct upon the instructions of her lawyer to request a police escort for an access order, and was physically dragged out of the precinct by Defendant NYPD Police Officers. Plaintiff was transported by EMS to Coney Island Hospital, where she remained for 19 days until she was transferred to Bellevue.
