Description: On September 29, 2016 at approximately 4:15 pm Plaintiff was walking on the street when Defendants NYPD officers Michael Gilligan and Peter Mccarthy without any justification searched, questioned and falsely arrested the Plaintiff and they did not find any evidence of drugs or contraband. Plaintiff was held at the stationhouse for many hours and had to return to court on the basis of several false allegations which the Defendants knew were false when they made them. Defendants knowingly gave false and misleading information to prosecutors at the DAs office. Plaintiff was criminally charged with crimes he did not commit, but the charges were dismissed 1 year after his arrest.
