Description: On March 8, 2013, Plaintiff was inside of her nephew's apartment when at least five Defendant NYPD police officers forcefully and unlawfully entered the apartment without probable cause or legal justification. The Plaintiff then complied with police orders to get on the ground and was thereafter handcuffed. The police officers unlawfully searched the entire apartment but did not find any contraband. Plaintiff was arrested and taken to a precinct, but the District Attorney's Office declined to prosecute her. As a result of her arrest, Plaintiff was suspended from her job.
