Description: On or about December 16, 2011, Plaintiff was falsely arrested by NYPD Detectives Rodney Goulding and Iris Bresciani. The detectives assaulted, battered and humiliated Plaintiff. Plaintiff was charged with murder and manslaughter and incarcerated from December 16, 2011 to December 7, 2015. The officers failed to properly investigate the crimes at hand, manipulated witness testimony, and withheld exculpatory evidence. The charges were dismissed on November 12, 2015 and December 14, 2015 after a jury trial. While incarcerated, Plaintiff suffered diabetic shock on two occasions, a broken nose and a lacerated hand as a result of assault/battery by other inmates. Plaintiffs ran back into their house and the man, who was Defendant Officer Maldonado, forcibly entered the apartment along with Officer Akaydin.
