Description: On or about December 16, 2011, Plaintiff was falsely arrested by NYPD Detectives Rodney Goulding and Iris Bresciani. The detectives assaulted, battered and humiliated Plaintiff. Plaintiff was charged with murder and manslaughter and incarcerated from December 16, 2011 to December 7, 2015. The officers failed to properly investigate the crimes at hand, manipulated witness testimony, and withheld exculpatory evidence. The charges were dismissed on November 12, 2015 and December 14, 2015 after a jury trial.

Description: Plaintiff were in their hallway when they saw a man with a gun exit the elevator. Plaintiffs ran back into their house and the man, who was Defendant Officer Maldonado, forcibly entered the apartment along with Officer Akaydin. Defendant Officers arrested Plaintiffs, took them to the 41st Precinct, strip-searched them, and charged them with a felony and three misdemeanors.
