Description: On June 28, 2019, several NYPD officers, including Officers Erin Blum, Daniel White, Justin Beresford, and Thomas Reed, approached and grabbed the plaintiff. Blum, White, Beresford, and Reed violently contorted the plaintiff's hands behind his back and placed excessively tight handcuffs on him, causing injuries to the plaintiff's back, neck, arms, hands, and wrists. Defendants, including Blum, White, Beresford, and Reed, performed a strip-search and cavity-search of the plaintiff despite having no reason to believe he had committed a crime or possessed contraband.
