Complaint
Description: On June 1, 2020, plaintiff was approached and assaulted by police officer Thomas Kennedy, and several other unidentified police officers. Specifically, plaintiff was grabbed, jumped on top of, punched, struck with batons, and his arms were twisted and forcefully placed in handcuffs. The officers continued to beat plaintiff while he was handcuffed. Subsequently, the officers arrested and took plaintiff to the precinct, where he was held until he was released the same day. The officers submitted an erroneous police report in an effort to cover up their wrongful conduct and initiated a prosecution in bad faith.
