Description: On March 22, 2012, Plaintiffs were attending a party at the home of an acquaintance when several officers charged in unlawfully. These officers include David Creely, Giovani Ramirez, Bergenbaum, Jose Alegre, Claude Celeste, Jovanny Fernandez, Jeffery Gryz, and unnamed officers. Despite the fact that they had no probable cause to believe Plaintiffs had committed any crimes or offenses, the officers placed Plaintiffs under arrest. At the precinct, the officers falsely informed the DA's Office that they had observed Plaintiffs in possession of a controlled substance. Plaintiffs were falsely charged with drug offenses. Charges against Plaintiffs were ultimately dismissed.

Description: On April 20, 2011, Plaintiff was walking to his local market/bodega in the vicinity on Avenue W, Brooklyn, NY. Plaintiff was stopped, arrested and falsely charged with assault and robbery. The robbery victim never stated plaintiff committed these crimes or had involvement in the assault and robbery. A defendant officer under the supervision of Jackson stated to the victim plaintiff was one of his assailants, despite officers not witnessing the events nor the victim identifying plaintiff. On March 5, 2012, charges against plaintiff were dismissed.
