Description: On or about October 31, 2017, Craig Pestone was traveling on the New England Thruway near Co-Op City Blvd in the Bronx, New York, when he was confronted by New York City Police Officer POM G. Zakoscielny. During the encounter, Zakoscielny assaulted Pestone by battering, head-butting, and threatening him at gunpoint, despite Pestone not posing any threat. The officer’s actions included shoving, punching, and subjecting Pestone to extreme physical and verbal aggression, causing him to sustain severe physical injuries and lasting emotional trauma.
