Complaint
Description: On February 23, 2024, plaintiff was visiting his parents in Queens and had a brief altercation with them. Police were called to the scene, and they met plaintiff on the street outside. Despite plaintiff taking to efforts to resist, defendant NYPD Officer Marc Waskowitz punched plaintiff in the face and then shocked him with a taser. Plaintiff was then handcuffed and taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Defendants then released him without any criminal charges.
