Alexis was falsely accused of multiple charges, including robbery and possession of stolen property, and subjected to an illegal search. Description: On January 15th, 2014, Plaintiff was detained and arrested in connection with an alleged incident that occured December 9, 2013. Civilian defendant ("CD") had a protective order against Plaintiff. Defendant allegedly lied to police that Plaintiff had violated protective order. Civilian defendant intentionally contacted plaintiff in an elevator. CD then assaulted Plaintiff in the elevator. CD then complained to NYPD and DA that plaintiff violated protective order and plaintif verbally threatened CD. Plaintiff was then arrested, held in detention for 27 hours and then the criminal charges were dismissed.
