Description: On June 24, 2015, plaintiff was riding his bicycle outside when Officers M. Raleigh and two unidentified officers cut off plaintiff with their police car, striking him on his left leg and knocking him to the ground. Plaintiff suffered a broken wrist, fractured ribs, and bruised knees as a result of the accident. The officers then handcuffed plaintiff despite his injuries and took him to the hospital where he was treated and given a cast. Plaintiff was then arrested and taken to Riker's Island where he was put in a cell. Six days later, the charges against plaintiff were resolved with time served.

Description: Plaintiffs were in the car when defendant officers stopped them. Defendant officers suspected that their license was stolen from Michigan but plaintiffs have been driving the car with the original plate for more than 10 years. Plaintiffs were tightly handcuffed and plaintiff 2 was threatened at a gun point. Plaintiff was charged with hanging a flag near the rearview mirror and the charge was dismissed later.
