Description: On February 21, 2023, the Plaintiff received a worried call from his 16-year-old son, who asked her to come downstairs from her apartment building. She did so and found her son pushed against a police car, surrounded by approximately five Police Officers. She repeatedly asked them what was going on, but they replied that she had to wait without providing any other information. The Police Officers then handcuffed her son, and one of them punched him in the face and side, and kneed him. Description: On April 21, 2020, at approximately 10:00pm, Plaintiff was lawfully present in the vicinity of Kosciuzcko Street and Marcy Avenue, Brooklyn, when the Defendant police officers, including NYPD Officer Forbes, unlawfully handcuffed and falsely arrested Plaintiff without probable cause, or any legal justification. Plaintiff had left his cell phone in his cousin's car at the above location.
