Description: On April 18, 2014, Plaintiff was approached by Sgt. Dorsett and POs Gargan and Martinez as well as several other officers in a deli nearby his home in Kings County. All officers were dressed in plainclothes. The officers told plaintiff that there was a warrant for his arrest on an Open Container violation and placed him in handcuffs. Plaintiff was transported to the 90th precinct where he was told that there was no warrant for his arrest. Plaintiff was then transported to the 79th precinct where several officers questioned him about a shooting at the Tompkins Houses, a residential housing development in Kings County.
