Description: On May 26, 2019, Plaintiff Ordonez was walking eastbound on West 42 Street towards Eighth Avenue with friends to take the subway home, when they were approached by several uniformed police officers and questioned individually. Plaintiff was smoking marijuana when Officer "John" Cavanetti asked him to put it out. Cavanetti searched him and found additional marijuana. Cavanetti handcuffed Plaintiff. Officer "John" Harrigan and several other officers forcefully pushed Plaintiff to the ground during which time Plaintiff's hand struck the railing at the entrance to the subway station.
