Description: On June 21, 2011, in Queens, Plaintiff Sing Chan was falsely arrested or caused to be arrested by Defendants, NYPD Officers, Maguire, Libonati, Frangipane, Kim, and Miller. Thereafter, Plaintiff was wrongfully accused and tried for the attempted murder of his landlady and her son, among other charges. Defendants Maguire, Libonati, Frangipane, Kim and Miller knew or reasonably should have known about an earlier incident involving his landlady's attack on his wife Mrs Dong, a fact which substantiated the Plaintiff's claim that he was acting in self-defense against the landlady and her son.
