Complaint
Description: On November 10, 2018, around 1:10 P.M., in the vicinity of 3555 Bovina Street, Bronx, Plaintiff's were lawfully walking along a public sidewalk when they were stopped and accosted by Defendants. Plaintiff's were accused of possessing drugs. No drugs were found on either Plaintiff. Plaintiff Peacock was handcuffed to a chain-link fence and caused to suffer physical pain. Both Plaintiff's were taken to a precinct and given criminal summonses. Plaintiff's were required to appear in Bronx Criminal Court on several occasions and on April 17, 2019, all charges were dismissed.
