Description: On July 6, 2013, Plaintiff Willie McClary was in Kings County (Brooklyn) near Mother Gaston Blvd, Belmont Avenue and Sutter Avenue. That morning, plaintiff was playing chess with another adult individual. Numerous officers suddenly exited a vehicle and began asking plaintiff where he was coming from and where he was going. After plaintiff responded to the officers’ questions, NYPD Officer Todd Hansen grabbed Plaintiff by the arm and twisted his arm behind his back. Description: On or about July 9, 2013, Plaintiff was in a for-hire vehicle that was scheduled to bring Plaintiff to the hospital. The driver of the vehicle refused to drive Plaintiff’s children with Plaintiff. When Plaintiff refused to leave the vehicle, both the driver and Plaintiff called the police. NYPD officers, including POs Colette Tucker and Katrina Pringle, responded to the call. The officers began forcefully removing Plaintiff from the vehicle, whereupon POs Brian Scalise and Joseph Piscatella arrived and assisted in that effort.
