Complaint
Description: The plaintiff was walking down the street to buy cigarettes when he saw two individuals in an argument. The plaintiff went to pacify the situation and walked away with one of the individuals. The officers approached and told the plaintiff that he had to leave and when the plaintiff asked why the officers beat the plaintiff with a baton and took him to the 79th Precinct. He was charged with disorderly conduct and later the DA declined to prosecute.
