Description: On June 24, 2016, NYPD Sergeant Richard Pimentel and Officers Yeraldy Bonifacio, Michael Dappolonia, and John Does #1-5 forcefully entered the plaintiff's residence in upper Manhattan without a warrant or probable cause. They rear handcuffed the plaintiff, removed him from his residence when he was dressed only in underwear, and transported him to the 28th Precinct. The defendants locked the plaintiff in a cell for several hours and, thereafter, transported him to Central Booking in downtown Manhattan.
The plaintiff was charged with several crimes and attended twelve court appearances before all charges were dismissed on August 10, 2017.
