Complaint
Description: On May 27, 2013, plaintiff was standing behind a gate in front of 1423 Park Place, Brooklyn, New York. A defendant officer opened the closed gate and walked in. Plaintiff questioned why the officer came through the gate. One of the defendants grabbed plaintiff by the shirt, threw him to the ground, twisted his arms and placed plaintiff in unnecessarily tight handcuffs. When plaintiff asked for the officer to loosen his handcuffs, the officer refused. One of the defendants intentionally twisted plaintiff's already broken finger while another defendant kneed plaintiff in the ribs.
