Description: On December 18, 2016, Defendant Jong Kim, along with three unnamed officers, approached the Plaintiff while he was waiting outside for a cab. The officers advanced upon the Plaintiff with loaded firearms, outstretched limbs, and various objects, which they used to grab and strike him, informing him that he was not allowed to leave. The Defendants slammed the Plaintiff face down on the ground, pressed their knees against his back, and handcuffed his wrists so tightly that they turned red. The Plaintiff’s arrest was made without legal cause or a warrant, and the violent arrest resulted in a scrape on the side of his face, bruises, and scrapes on his wrist.
