Description: On or about August 13, 2013 PO Suthom Ungcharoen, PO John Gonis, former PO Pedro Vazquez wrongfully touched, grabbed, handcuffed, and seized Plaintiff in an excessive manner without legal justification. Plaintiff was taken to a precinct, wrongfully held for approximately 16 hours, and was maliciously prosecuted. After multiple court appearance all charges were dismissed on or about November 18, 2013. Plaintiff suffered deprivation of liberty, humiliation, mental anguish, indignity. and severe and permanent injuries of a psychological nature as a result of this incident.

Description: On December 9, 2012, plaintiff EDWIN VASQUEZ was lawfully inside of the 28th NYPD Precinct. While inside of the precinct, defendant Vazquez told plaintiff to go outside, to which plaintiff complied. Without any legal justification or excuse, defendant Vazquez maced plaintiff and threw him to the ground.
Defendant Vazquez handcuffed plaintiff and proceeded to kick plaintiff while he was handcuffed and on the ground, striking him on various part of his body, including his testicles, abdomen, and lower back. Defendant Vazquez then took plaintiff inside of the 28th Precinct, where he and defendant officers McGuire and Brightman continued to assault and beat plaintiff while he was restrained.

Description: On March 9, 2012, Plaintiff was lawfully standing in front of a store when she was subjected to verbal and physical abuse by multiple unknown Defendant NYPD officers and Defendant NYPD officers Vargas and Vasquez. The Defendants struck Plaintiff in the head, face, and body, prior to forcibly detaining her. The Defendants had no legal cause or justification for their actions.
