Complaint
Description: On July 26, 2012 Plaintiffs were walking to their home in Queens when Defendant Officers approached in a marked police van. Defendant Officers stopped Plaintiffs and asked them what was going on. Plaintiffs told the Defendants that nothing was going on but Defendants exited the vehicle and began placing both Plaintiffs under arrest without saying why. When handcuffing the Plaintiffs officers severely injured one plaintiff before releasing him to focus on the other plaintiff. Defendants place the other plaintiff in handcuffs again causing severe injury. That plaintiff was taken to the precinct where he spent several hours before spending more time at central booking. All charges were dismissed.
