Complaint
Description: On June 7, 2016, Plaintiff, a truck driver who transports containers, was arrested by Homeland Security Investigation Officers after he dropped off a container that contained drugs. Officer Michael Corvi interrogated Plaintiff two times, during which Plaintiff was never read his Miranda Rights and never waived them. Officer Corvi falsely claimed that Plaintiff admitted to knowing that the container contained drugs and admitted to knowingly transporting drugs when Plaintiff never did so in the two interrogations. Plaintiff was charged with Conspiracy to Distribute Cocaine and Attempted Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute based on Officer Corvi's false claims.
