Description: On April 30, 2009, plaintiff was arrested by NYPD detective and officer defendants regarding a shooting incident which had occurred on August 30, 2008. The shooting occurred at 5 AM following a party after an argument between the shooting victim and an individual later identified as possibly a gang member over a taxi cab. Detectives Geary and Bencosme and other NYPD defendants manufactured a story about an unidentified witness who stated during a canvass that the shooting had been done by someone named Marcus whose last name she thought was "King".
