Description: On May 14, 2013, Plaintiff, after being lawfully at his friend’s apartment at 1259 Loring Avenue for a social gathering, was walking through the lobby to exit the building when he was stopped by several unidentified NYPD police officers, including Officer Dresner and Officer Goddard. They asked for identification; he complied and explained his presence. However, without probable cause, the officers arrested him. He was transported to the precinct where they falsely informed the employees of the Kings County District DA’s Office that they observed him trespassing despite not having witnessed him do so.
