Description: On November 3, 2023, Plaintiff, a truck driver, suffered a medical emergency while driving his tractor-trailer in East Harlem, New York. After feeling light-headed, he safely pulled over the truck and passed out. Defendant NYPD officers arrived at the scene and, despite being informed by FDNY EMTs that Mr. Kern required medical care, Defendant Officer Michael Slinkosky decided to arrest him. Description: On or about October 29, 2022, the plaintiff was unlawfully assaulted, questioned and detained by the defendants including POs Muhammad Amir, Ryan Coffaro and Ryan Barber, subjecting the plaintiff to severe humiliation, degradation and shock.
