Description: On October 28, 2022, the plaintiff, Reynaldo Rodriguez, was lawfully in the vicinity of East 198th Street and Creston Avenue, in the Bronx. Without an arrest warrant, probable cause, or any legal justification, Defendant officers Garcia, Doe and Roe, stopped, searched, grabbed, assaulted, battered, and detained him in an excessive manner. Mr. Rodriguez was arraigned after his arrest and thereafter falsely and maliciously prosecuted with committing a crime. Mr. Rodriguez remained incarcerated for over twenty-four hours and was required to make numerous court appearances until all charges against him were terminated favorably.

Defendant Officers then forcefully placed Plaintiff in handcuffs. After receiving medical treatment for his injuries, Defendants transported Plaintiff to Bronx County Central Booking, wherein he remained until his release on October 7, 2022.
