The plaintiff was then strip-searched in the 40th precinct. On January 9, 2020, the Bronx County Criminal Court dismissed the case. Description: On September 1, 2011, Plaintiff was sitting across the street from his home on a park bench when he was approached by PO Tepperman. After a brief verbal interaction, PO Tepperman arrested Plaintiff on a charge of burglary. Plaintiff was strip-searched and remained in custody for a period of several months. Within the time that Plaintiff was detained, POs Giron and Nemeth used illegal means to gain access to Plaintiff's medical records and personal documents. Also in this time period, Plaintiff was denied access to medical care, including physical therapy treatment, and subject to solitary confinement.
