Description: On March 1, 2020, around 12:20 AM at Bedell Street and Baisley Boulevard, Queens, Plaintiff Joseph Bryant was unlawfully stopped for not having his headlights on (they were on) and his car was unlawfully searched by Defendant Officers Christopher Cohen, and John/Jane Does 1-6. Plaintiff was in custody for approximately 18.5 hours. Defendant Officers confiscated Plaintiff's $6,000 cash and marked it for forfeiture, physically damaged his car during the search, and prevented his use of airplane tickets during his incarceration.
