Description: On August 3, 2022, at approximately 8pm, plaintiff was lawfully standing outside in the area of 9320 Avenue L in Brooklyn. Without warning or provocation defendant officer Steven Minister and others aggressively approached plaintiff, violently threw him to the ground, assaulted him and sprayed him with pepper spray. Defendatns present had the opportunity and failed to intervene. Defendants falsely arrested plaintiff without probable cause and took him to the precint. Plaintiff was held overnight and booked and arraigned based on false allegations by the defendants before eventually being released.
