Description: On November 26, 2023, plaintiff was attending a small private function commemorating the passing of his mother. The plaintiff was in his car with three other friends eating some food when an unmarked police car drove past, slowed down, then drove on. After sitting in his car awhile longer, plaintiff drove off with his cousin and friend toward his home in Queens. The same unmarked police car followed the plaintiff and stopped him. The defendant NYPD officers never identified themselves. The plaintiff admitted that there was a weapon in the glovebox and that he had permits and licenses for it. They were forced out of the vehicle and searched illegally.
