Description: On July 24, 2021, Ms. York attended a protest. NYPD officers surrounded the protesters on all sides and played a recording stating that protesters must disperse. NYPD Officer Jorge Garcia pushed Ms. York, who verbally expressed to Garcia that she couldn't move because she was trapped. Garcia ignored this information and continued pushing Ms. York on her shoulders and chest. At some point, an NYPD supervisor gave a command to arrest the protesters. Garcia and Officer John Doe 1 grabbed Ms. York and threw her onto the street, which caused her to fall and lose her cane. Description: On or about August 24, 2015 within Plaintiff's residence Sgts. Eric Konoski, Kenneth Jefferson, Daniel Tirado, and PO Jorge Garcia arrested Plaintiff without legal justification. POs assaulted and battered Plaintiff during the arrest. Plaintiff was taken to a precinct and elsewhere and held until August 26, 2014. A malicious prosecution was commenced against Plaintiff. Plaintiff was compelled to retain legal counsel and appear in court several times before he was found innocent of all charges. Plaintiff suffered physical injury, humiliation, indignity, and frustration as a result of this incident.

Plaintiff was strip-searched at the precinct, then directed to the hospital where officers made sure his injuries weren't documented.
