Description: On or about October 12, 2018, the plaintiff, Ayana Hood, dropped off some clothes for her son, Xavier Randall, to the school guidance counselor across the street from her school and did not have any contact with her son on that day and only communicated with her son's guidance counsel. On December 26, 2018, the plaintiff was contacted by the defendant, Detective Jorge Morgan, and later became aware that the defendant wished to arrest her for violating an order of protection for her to stay away from Daniel Randall, the estranged father of her son. The protection order only disallows criminal conduct toward her son and the plaintiff did not make such conduct. The plaintiff and the plaintiff's attorney both talke...

Description: On September 4, 2015, Detective Wilfredo Acevedo, Jorge Morban and other police officers forcibly entered plaintiff's residence without a warrant, justification, consent, or probable cause. Defendants use force against the plaintiff including pointing firearms at him and tightly handcuffing. After entering his residence, the defendants detained, imprisoned, and arrested the plaintiff. On or about September 5, 2015, the defendants initiated a criminal prosecution of plaintiff. On or about September 22, 2016, all criminal charges against the plaintiff were dismissed.
