Description: On August 14, 2014, Danny Martinez, while lawfully present at 1500 Broadway in Manhattan, was accused by NYPD Officer Sean Malone (Shield No. 25914) of attempting to commit robbery in the third degree. Officer Malone allegedly arrested Mr. Martinez without probable cause, applying handcuffs in a manner that caused him significant pain. Mr. Martinez was detained for over seven months, during which he was falsely charged, leading to his prolonged confinement and subsequent emotional and physical harm. The charges were ultimately dismissed on February 17, 2016.
