Complaint
Description: On November 3, 2022, Plaintiff was approached by Police Officers Lopez and Doe, as well as other members of the NYPD. Without cause or provocation, the POs struck, tackled and tased Plaintiff. While Plaintiff was on the ground, PO Doe kneed Plaintiff in his back and legs. Shortly thereafter, while Plaintiff was in an ambulance, POs Lopez and Doe, and other members of the NYPD violently grabbed and struck Plaintiff. As a result of the assault, Plaintiff sustained several physical injuries, including a left tibial fracture that required surgery. Plaintiff remained hospitalized until November 15, 2022 due to the incident.
