Description: On or about July 5, 2021, Plaintiff observed police officer Jamel Watson and Watson's belongings on Plaintiff's car. When Plaintiff asked Watson to remove those belongings, Watson began a verbal argument with Plaintiff. A month later, detective McMorrow contacted Plaintiff about the incident with Watson, and on or around August 4, 2021, McMorrow arrested Plaintiff without justification, after which Plaintiff was held for hours a cell with other male prisoners and charged with Reckless Endangerment. Between August 24, 2021 and December 6, 2021, Plaintiff was forced to make numerous court appearances until all charges were dismissed in Plaintiff's favor.

Description: On or about March 7, 2020, at approximately, 2:00 a.m., in the vicinity of East 188th Street and Webster Avenue, County of Bronx, NYPD Officer Hamza Elreda, along with other NYPD officers, approached plaintiff without legal justification and detained her by means of excessive force. The officers subjected plaintiff to a strip search before she was arraigned and falsely and maliciously prosecuted with committing a crime. As a result of the officers’ excessive force, plaintiff suffered severe physical and mental injury.
