Complaint
Description: On February 14, 2013, plaintiff was lawfully in the vicinity of 1839 Lexington Avenue, New York, when defendant police officers, without any probable cause or reasonable justification, approached plaintiff and wrongfully touched, grabbed, seized, and handcuffed him. Plaintiff was then arrested and held in custody for 2 days. Defendants then falsely accused plaintiff of committing a crime. They submitted false information and evidence to the DA's office, which resulted in prosecution against plaintiff. As a result of the incident, plaintiff sustained severe physical injuries and emotional trauma.
