Description: On May 12, 2012, Plaintiff Salem Amari was in the vicinity of Craven St and Randall Ave in the Bronx when Defendant Officers sprayed mace or a similar substance in his face. Defendant Officers, including Stanley Harry, Abiola Brown, Ralph Pefetto and John Doe, proceeded to strike Plaintiff with batons and then handcuffed him. As they dragged plaintiff to a police car, plaintiff fell and Defendant Officer Abiola Brown struck him with a baton. When plaintiff pleaded for help, one of the Defendant Officers sprayed Mace in his mouth. Plaintiff was arrested on false charges of Disorderly conduct and Resisting Arrest. The charges were dismissed on September 24, 2012.
