Complaint
Description: On August 12, 2018 incident, in the Bronx, Defendants NYPD Officers Gomez and John or Jane Doe 1-10 unlawfully stopped, questioned, searched, arrested and detained Plaintiff Lonzo Blake because of his race. In the course of their unlawful act, Defendants falsely accused Plaintiff of Robbery in the third degree, Petit Larceny, as well as other crimes, and forcibly grabbed and contorted Plaintiff's arms to affix metal handcuffs to his wrists in an excessively tight fashion. Following the detention, the Defendants took Plaintiff against his will to the Precinct and then on to Central Booking, where Defendant NYPD Officer Gomez signed the criminal complaint against Plaintiff, in which he knowingly affirmed the tr...
