Complaint
Description: On January 12, 2023, Defendant Kivlehan, and the unnamed NYPD Defendants unlawfully stopped, searched, and arrested both Plaintiffs, without any probable cause. The Defendants unlawfully gained access to Plaintiff Gonzales's workplace and after confirming the identities of the Plaintiffs, subjected them to violent arrest, including tight handcuffs. Plaintiffs were subject to further invasive searches at the Precinct, before being booked. During the booking, the Defendants provided false information. All charges against both Plaintiffs have been dismissed.
