Description: On March 1, 2018, Plaintiff was lawfully on the street outside of an apartment building. Plaintiff did not live in the apartment building nor was he a visitor. Officers approached Plaintiff without probable cause and proceeded to stop, search, grab, and detain Plaintiff in an aggressive manner. The officers claimed that Plaintiff was involved with contraband that was present at the apartment complex. In fact, Plaintiff was not associated with the building and there was no contraband found in the complex. Plaintiff was subsequently taken to the precinct and charged. All charges against Plaintiff were later dismissed.
