Description: On May 17, 2015, while lawfully present at 574 Warren Street in Brooklyn, NY, Plaintiff Christopher Thomas was assaulted and then wrongfully arrested and detained by Defendant NYPD officers MICHAEL HEWITT (Shield 20518), "JOHN" PEREZ (Shield 2060) and six unidentified officers. The complaint does not describe the events that led to this encounter nor state the length of Plaintiff's detention. Plaintiff received injuries that required medical attention.
