Description: On September 17, 2014, the Queens County District Attorney issued a press release, identifying Plaintiff Lucas as someone conspiring with others to commit murder. Plaintiff Lucas was arrested on September 16, 2014. Defendant NYPD officers prepared false documents claiming Plaintiff Lucas's role in conspiracy murder. Plaintiff Lucas convicted of conspiracy to commit murder in the second degree. Conviction overturned on November 14, 2018.

The Defendant Officers searched the home for hours looking for guns but did not recover any. They strip searched Plaintiff in his bathroom and then arrested him and took him to the precinct. Plaintiff was charged with a knife recovered from the kitchen drawer in the apartment, small bag of marijuana found inside the couch, and violating an order of protection that had ever existed. Description: On March 1, 2013, plaintiff exited a CVS store in Queens, NY and walked along the sidewalk. When Plaintiff approached a Kentucky Fried Chicken on Francis Lewis Blvd, he was approached and stopped by Defendants. Defendants pushed Plaintiff to the ground and punched, kicked, and struck Plaintiff. Defendants placed a handcuff on one of Plaintiff's wrists and, with the other handcuff, pulled his arm all the way up his back so that Plaintiff's hand was up near his head, causing Plaintiff severe pain.
