Description: On April 10, 2015, Plaintiff was falsely convicted of charges related to a robbery that he did not commit. His conviction was procured by duress, misrepresentation, and fraud by Officer Ellis DeLoren, who led the investigation. The only direct evidence that connected Plaintiff to the crimes he was charged were the highly suspect identifications of four witnesses, each of whom testified under a grant of immunity, had every reason to curry favor with the police, and whose identifications were conducted under suggestive procedures by Officer DeLoren, who was well aware that he was acting in violation of Plaintiff's rights.
