Description: On August 21, 2023, Plaintiff was walking down the sidewalk when she was arrested, handcuffed and imprisoned without probable cause or other legal justification. She was purportedly arrested for obstruction of governmental administration and other charges but in actuality was a victim of false arrest and excessive force by PO Galarza, who was the aggressor and who had nothing to fear from the plaintiff. PO Shaha arrested Plaintiff on the word of PO Galarza to cover up and hide the officer's own crimes and misdeeds.
Plaintiff was handcuffed and brought to PSA 3 and later Central Booking from where she was released following her arraignment. Criminal proceedings against Plaintiff were terminated on November 8, ...
